Hinged Colonial and Bahama shutters look like traditional wood shutters. Colonials are hinged at the sides and Bahamas are hung at the top. With bi-fold hinges, wide windows can be covered with multiple Colonial shutter panels that hide behind each other when in the open position. They are custom manufactured of extruded aluminum alloy and stainless steel hardware and designed to resist extreme environmental conditions. There are no sheet metal parts or Styrofoam fillers. They are available in 187 different colors and can also be custom color matched. These shutters pass the Dade County Florida missile impact test and are wind load rated for 140 mph.

They are rated for a 140 mph wind load and pass the Dade County Florida missile impact test. Each panel is only 15" wide and 48 panels stack to a height of one foot for storage.
